The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
-replaced furnace filter -replaced fridge water filter -replaced broken handle on microwave -replaced kitchen faucet and sprayer
One of the most productive weekends I’ve had in a long time.
In all honesty I do applaud this effort. Feels good to get shit done. But the first three items on that list can’t have taken more than about 5 minutes combined.
The faucet/sprayer job is an annoying bitch, though.
True, but they are the type you keep forgetting about and tell yourself “I’ll get to them next weekend”. Getting sink parts I remembered about the filters.

I've got to do our furnace filter and faucet/sprayer as well. I think the furnace filter will take a lot longer because it's my first time servicing this model. It's the first time there's both an upflow/downflow filter, and I don't know what kind they are. So I'll have to get into my crawlspace, figure that out, then go to Home Depot, then come back and install. That's like an hour.

I removed a ceiling light and sawed off the bracket, redid the existing wiring, and then installed the ceiling fan bracket and ceiling fan in 3 hours on Saturday. It was my proudest moment as a homeowner.

If changing your furnace filter counts as home improvement I do a lot of home improvement.

That is quite the accomplishment. And in three hours no less.

Me too, it's a plot device for like an entire episode in season three
