The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Everything on that tray is great, though I’ll take Joe’s burnt ends any day. Hidden under the bread slices are Twinkie’s. Their beans include bits of apple pie, which drew me in, but I’m almost certain they put apple cider vinegar in them to make em’ tangy.
what are those beige chunks in the lower right corner?
I had “tavern style” ribs tonight. They were boiled with a very mild sauce, but somehow still oddly satisfying. Super tender and falling off the bone, zero rub, and the sauce was like a slightly more vinegary ketchup. I’m not even sure this post belongs in this thread.
Lol. I knew before you posted that link it had to be Twin Anchors.
Have you never been before? I used to live a couple of blocks from there. We would go to the 7pm mass at St. Mike’s that people called the “Ass Mass” (the twenty something girls were just looking to hook up) and head to Twin Anchors.

That whole Ass Mass situation sounds fratty AF. Amazing.

We’ve tried a couple times but it’s always a long wait. Took advantage of them doing delivery now during the pandemic, as I don’t recall that being an option previously.

The Old Town/Lincoln Park/Lakeview neighborhoods are teeming with 20 something professionals not far removed from college, who want to live near downtown. The Saturday college football bar scene is immense.

I went out for a night in Chicago while in the area for the UW/Michigan game. I think it was 2002. Anyway I was in my early 20’s.
Great bar scene as I recall and I’m not sure what district we went to but I’m pretty sure it was smack in the middle of the city or probably near Lincoln Park. I dunno, big city. Anyway one place was serving $1 beers.

why don't you just make it a day before and microwave it? one of them is just going to destroy your toilet while they're there anyway.
