I mean, this is kind of a no brainer. But I'm very disappointed that version of Cowgirl is DVD only. I remember tracking down a bootleg of this show years ago pretty much just for that version (not to slag the rest of the set) but that possibly my favorite take of Cowgirl.
He posted all the songs from it on his site over the past year. People have grabbed them and they are on Soulseek. Seen them, and it really is incredible.

Gonna go ahead and say that Separate Ways is top 20 NY, and quite possibly my favorite album opener in his entire catalog. The way that first gloomy chord comes in, with the wow + flutter birthing the first bass notes, it’s just so perfect

If there’s more vocal manipulation a la Trans, then meh...I love Trans, but I don’t need a second one. But if it’s normal singing over Neil’s take on tropicalia, then it could be amazing.

Has anyone seen the reissue of El Dorado? It popped up on Discogs. Part of the NYAS.
I was going to post about this over at Vinyl Collective. No idea what's going on! The same thing happened with the represses of Dead Man, This Note's for You, Reactor, and Hawks & Doves a few years ago--they were released in the ORS with no fanfare and barely any announcement. I got half of those in the clearance bin before I knew they were released, and I had to order Dead Man for Europe.

Are there plans for additional official release series vinyl box sets? I think the next one would be 13-16
I'll clip the quote from NYA when I get on my computer later, but it sounds like the next box set is going to be Reactor, This Note's for You, Hawks & Doves, and Eldorado. Someone on Discogs says Eldorado is coming in May, so perhaps the box set will be around that time (RSD in June?).

So they'll just box up the 2018 remasters and add Eldorado? No plans to go chronologically through the Geffen years? That's disappointing
I've listened to Young Shakespeare a few times this week -- doesn't feel as essential as some other Archives releases from this general period (Massey Hall, Cellar Door), but it's still very enjoyable. Neil in fine voice singing one excellent song after another in a quiet, intimate setting -- checks all my boxes.
Way Down in the Rust Bucket, though -- now that's an album.
