air fryers work because they take advantage of convection and better air circulation (which you can't get on a sheet pan) within a smaller, confined space. that's how it simulates frying. otherwise you're ... checks notes ... roasting.

and regarding the cutco ones: one of our friends sons first job was selling cutco knives while he was in college..we bought that set of 4 to help him out about 10 years ago..they are worth it
