Lost track of these guys after Heretic Pride and the one with the Bible passages for song titles. Great lyrics but too many songs that sound a bit too similar to each other.

I’m really impressed by the “live” album (in studio stream) they did last year, too. They just sound fantastic together.

They did a livestream of two more sessions last week, with two completely different setlists. Hopefully those will be released soon.

This is really random but my gf is very into the mountain goats so Ive been listening through their discography. I got to Coroner's Gambit which came out in 2000 and oddly it seemed like in some vague way some of it reminded me of Pearl Jam of that era. And I felt like this song has to be the mountain goats song that Eddie would most wish he had written. I could very easily see him covering this. It seems right in his wheelhouse, musically, lol
