Remember when he “fired” Bolton on twitter after a couple days of strong rumors that the guy was resigning? Going after Bolton this way is nothing new. My bet is trump thinks Bolton is weird, doesn’t really know how to approach him, and doubles down once the anticipation gets too much.

Out of morbid curiosity I watched a '92 Trump appearance on Letterman last night. What an asshole, even then. First he lied or embellished his financial solvency, then bragged about his divorce, claimed that Ross Perot had a great chance to win the election that year, and tried to make a case for Mike Tyson not deserving 6 years for rape. The segment lasted less than nine minutes.

He adopted parts of Ross Perot's platform and won the presidency. He was wrong in '92, it just took him 24 years to give it another go.
