The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Been thinking more and more about this latest ep....
I hadn't really thought about how Bo-Katan's mission/destiny so fully aligns with Din's. Bo-Katan wants the darksaber. Gideon has the darksaber. Gideon wants The Child. Din is with The Child. There's just no way in which Din and Bo-Katan aren't fighting together to get the darksaber back. Right?
Is it possible this is the only time we see Bo-Katan this season?
Based on the interview I read yesterday with Katie, no it isn't the last time. She was asked about the fate of Bo-Katan and the dark saber, and she said "I don't want to spoil anything for the audience" or something like that.
That site isn't exactly reliable. But assuming any of that is true (which one would be right to seriously doubt) that makes sense. I'm not saying that I ever want The Mandalorian to become the Bo-Katan show. But I do hope she makes appearances from time to time. I'd love to see her as a recurring character.
I think it really depends on whether or not Ahsoka is in Episode 5. If she is... then I can imagine a lot of different scenarios. But if they're saving her for episode 7 or 8, then yeah.
Since Filoni is directing episode 5, though, it just seems like a safe bet that Ahsoka will appear for the first time in that episode. Will she be in multiple episodes? I guess if Dawson is really playing her then it's more likely. But the way this show is shot, nothing is a given. This isn't like old school TV.
It could go so many ways, but right now it feels like Ahsoka won't be in more than an episode. At least, that's my expectation. Obviously, I'd LOVE to be wrong about that.

Something mentioned on one of the pods I listen to.
The child has parents out there somewhere. And we think the frog couple and their babies might be throwaway but that could well be signalling what’s to come and they reunite the child with his parents.

What’s the significance of “dimejinky99”? How did you arrive at that username?
I was ~17 and working in a gas station I had to cycle 5 miles to for opening at 6am. On the Back wall of bolands mill(historic Dublin site. I’ll leave you look it up) someone had sprayed Dime Jinky
It was just so nonsensical and random I took it to be a username. I often wonder who the guy was and what it meant. I’ll never know. And here we are. I always thought he just spelled Junky wrong. As often happens with goons with a spray can. But who knows.
Din was taken very young and raised in and extreme ideology (fundamentalist Mandalorian). Then, when he was older, he was shown that his belief system and way of life should be questioned.
Ahsoka was taken very young and raised in an extreme ideology (the Jedi). Then, when she was older, she was shown that her belief system and way off life should be questioned.
I imagine this will be the main topic of conversation and source of wisdom imparted when these characters finally meet.

Go away.
Same. And they're not like dicks or anything. It's just so annoying, tho.
