Re-listened to Stranger in the Alps this week and it's just as good. "You Missed My Heart" is also a hell of a closer.

I've never been able to get into BOCC or boygenius, despite also being a fan of Julian Baker.

Stranger in the Alps is really fucking good, for sure. But I'm impressed most with the title of that album. When I was in high school my friends and I thought that line from the tv edit of The Big Lebowski was hilarious.

i don't think I like BOCC better than Phoebe's solo stuff (Punisher is probably better), but Dylan Thomas is definitely my favorite song that Phoebe has been involved in (and Conor too, for the record).

yeah, i agree that it gets too slow tempo at the middle. But the music is beautiful and haunting and sad so its ok with me. I really need to dive into the first one again.
boygenius...yeah, its cool. But i think i prefer Better...
