California will toss a mail-in if the signature doesn’t match. Probably one of several reasons that using last year’s voter information to send out ballots will result in dead people receiving ballots, but not in those ballots being fraudulently returned.

That'd be a hell of a scheme, worth applauding (very strongly!) to forge more than a few signatures. Vote!

Pretty amazing line, coming from someone who benefits directly from Republicans believing they can impact a state with spending and polling.
Quote:
“There is no reason for either side to put another dime into this state. It’s over,” said David Flaherty, a Republican pollster in Colorado who predicts “historic” losses for his party Nov. 3.

when the Dems win the Senate and pack the court, I hope they put two black athiest lesbians on the bench, one on each side of Coney Barrett, where they will sit every day, for the rest of her b-squad order-taking life

Right. Many people can successfully inscribe their faithful departed's.

I was tempted but you didn't hear that from me, PJ Votes

That's not how seating arrangements work at the court

Something I've been thinking about. (I am early voting in Houston -- and for Biden, btw.)

Polls close in half an hour. Should start getting results pretty quick after that. Pretty sure it's a forgone conclusion, but will be interesting to see what minor parties get into parliament too.

I'm not totally surprised. I thought that they'd get enough votes to govern alone. Thought that who I voted for would be polling above 5%, but they're not even registering

Tree is right about lack of education.

And in WA all you have to do is sign your ballot to “prove” it’s you.

22 million Americans have already voted.

Was it ever that much early voting in elections past?
