There's a pretty good report from the Trump's Justice Department that couldn't find voter fraud in the 2016 election when specifically commissioned to by Trump.

I'm sure mcphisto has gone over it with a fine tooth comb.

This is straight up voter suppression.

Our voting system IS fucking clownshoes, and when we want other countries' opinions about it, we'll bomb their opinions out of them.

I was really hoping my parents would have access to tracking their ballot like that.
It's their first time voting by mail.
But as far as I can tell Dallas / Texas doesn't do tracking unless you are mailing in your ballot from outside the country.
USPS delivery times have been disgusting in Dallas-Fort Worth even mailing within DFW but they did mail their ballots plenty early.

And Texas doesn't allow for "no excuse" vote by mail.
You have to meet one of these requirements and request a ballot by the deadline:
    - Be 65 or older.
    - Plan to be away from your county of residence for the duration of the election (this will include members of the military, college students, and those stationed overseas for work).
    - Have a disability (it's up to the individual voter to decide if they meet this requirement and cannot be asked what their disability is, but the courts have ruled susceptibility to COVID-19 cannot be considered a disability)
    - Be confined in jail without having been finally convicted of a felony.

Texas state Republicans tried to reverse Gov Greg? Abbott's (R as if you had to ask) executive order expanding early voting by a week but were unsuccessful.
So early voting started in Texas this past Tues. the 13th.

How awesome would it be if millions of Texans suddenly developed bone spurs.
