I’m really enjoying the book. It’s so dense and over complicates itself to start off with but then that eases off as you get into it. I am only about 200 pages on though.
But really enjoying it so far.
The entire arc of the main narrative that runs through Dune and its sequels is pretty stunning in its scope. The latter books tend to be a bit repetitive but it's thrilling to see the narrative adequately brought to an end.
I was told to only read as far as god emperor and ignore the books his son took up posthumously. Should I ignore that?

Sarge needed some help with some computer stuff that was over his head so they needed to recruit an outsider to do the work. And to do the work, that person needs to be a mod. Meet epilogue. We only pay him thirty dollars an hour, pretty good deal

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain. And really, it'll only be me, and not this movie, because it's been delayed 10 months:
