Im Thinking Of Ending Things.
I hate to agree with VinylGuy, but yeah, it was very pretentious and overstuffed. Long, too. I was checking my watch after the parent's house.
I guess I liked it. mostly. Especially the first half. It nosedives after that. Good material but not sure the execution ever quite lives up to it. Good stuff here and there, though.

I hate to agree with Burt but yeah, after they leave the parents house is where it goes downhill fast: loses all the weird tension and becomes really tedious

Lol at Robert Zemeckis.
My favorite bit is the ride from the parents' house to the high school.

Strat give me the elevator pitch on this movie, and whether or not it is any good
Im in the middle of it.
There are some different elements. This movie isn't going to stick with me beyond my time spent with it but honestly I think Kevin Bacon is such a good actor that I just enjoy watching him.
Oh is this that one where he’s married to a 14-year-old?
yea. And i love her.
I have a hard time watching movies when its just me at home. I rather watch a movie with someone so i can really become engaged. Lights off, phones down, no distractions.
Otherwise its on in the background and while im paying attention...its not the same.

why do you hate to agree with me?
The reason of the nosedive is that the book is building something Kaufman dont. And at the end is just pure ego trip.

Out Of Sight.
I have always been a fan of this movie, but i particulary enjoyed this view. 1998 seems like a lifetime ago. So different. This movie is just so classy and both Clooney and Lopez are wonderful.
She was such a star. I hope she continues to do great work.
Weird! We are planning to watch this tonight! One of my favorites but my wife had never seen it.
Love it. Dig the Ray Nicolette cameo from Jackie Brown.
We did this tonight. My favorite Soderbergh flick, and I liked it even more tonight than the last time I saw it.
