Gillian and Dave have been a mainstay on our stereo for the last few years and I have yet to tire of them. Soul Journey is the album that has been satisfying me as of late. It's like Gillian's album with the backing band from Dylan's Desire.

She doesn't tour much, but check her out if she does. Great shows!

I saw her live with Greg? Brown and Ani Difranco, like 13 years ago or something. Great concert. Girl I was with hated Gillian.

The entire Revelator album is fantastic....especially the title song. Somehow, I never got around to buying more.

Revelator is great. It is a grower.

Her first album, Revival, is fantastic as well.

Boots #2 is out now. Interesting story behind the record, and initial reviews are great. Can’t wait to dive in tonight.

Also, The Harrow & The Harvest is my favorite to date, but they’re all great. I’m a huge fan, glad to find this thread when I searched her name.

Time (The Revelator) and Soul Journey are fantastic. The others a really strong.

Love the new covers album.

Best tracks are Revelator, Everything Is Free, Wrecking Ball and I Dream a Highway. Oh man they are so good.

Really digging Boots #2. I’m mixed on the covers record. I just don’t love any song where Dave takes the lead vocal. Something about his voice strikes me as whiny...He’s amazing when he’s supporting Gillian, but I’ve always kind of bristled at his solo stuff.

I agree completely however the cover of Senor is gorgeous. The sway to Dave may have started.
