I got the Guided by Voices 10'' and the Damien Jurado 7'' from Record Store Day last Saturday. Really nothing else interesting in that whole lot for me. But these both look nice!
That is a nice sprawl of PJ. I hope they reissue Benaroya, I missed that one the first time around.
MMJ - Waterfall II arrived the other day and it’s a beautiful package.
Story:
When they originally released Benaroya i had ordered a copy of the Vinyl. I was...22? 23? But i wasn't collecting records. I cancelled the order because i was stressed about spending the money on something that I wasn't even able to listen to.
Here we are years later and they are selling for $1,000+ on ebay.

Moron.
I also had the chance to order it but didn't. I think they sold them for $40.

The few things I’ve wanted so far I have not been able to snag.
Black Crowes - Lions, not available in Canada The Who - Odds and Sods, sold out Kenny Wayne Shepherd - Ledbetter Heights, delayed I think or not available in Canada.
October has Skid Row- Slave to the Grind that I’m hoping for.
Pulled the trigger on the Pink Floyd reissue of Delicate Sound of Thunder and the boxes version of it. That was the tour I saw Floyd on and a big Fan of Momentary Lapse of Reason.

Getting my U-Turn set up for the first time since moving and the belt keeps falling off the platter on the 33 1/3 setting. Requested a replacement but is there a macgyver esque fix I'm overlooking?
You probably just need a new "belt". I've thought many times if what is basically a thin rubber band thing gets just a little more stretched somehow through wear and tear it would stop working right.
