I still think Picard and Beverly were banging on the side. I'm gonna write some fan faction about it, whether its true or not.

Though I refuse to believe the Wesley has any of Picard's genes.

Also, I can't be alone in thinking Crusher was way hotter than Troi.

Nope. Even the Japanese think so.

Seems like normal operating procedure nowadays to renew before a new series to signal to the audience they have confidence in the show. Until they are filming it's meaningless. They don't even have a show runner for Season 2.

Not true. They’ve asked me. I have accepted.

Kirk definitely had all sorts of alien STDs. Some were probably deadly. We rarely saw the women he slayed ever again.

Like Kirk wouldn't have Scotty beam that shit off his d once he was in.

Oh yeah, can't the transporter decontaminate people? They just mentioned it on a TNG I was watching.

Happy Birthday Star Trek. A franchise that has meant more to me than any other. Lately the fact that you've been run since '09 by people that don't even like you has really been wearing on me. You are an absolute shit show now. Yet I keep watching and hoping like a fool. Fuck JJ and Alex too. Come back to me Star Trek. I'm waiting.

Just finished a re-watch of Season 1 of TNG the other day. That's the only season that I've seen every episode of--for the rest of the series, I would conservatively estimate that I've seen about 20% of the episodes. If I get a minute, I'll post some thoughts about that first chunk of episodes.

Really came to post about this, though, that was announced today:

They are certainly something. Everyone on the writing team except Berman quit at the end of the season.
