Can't stop playing Rocket League. Play at least an hour almost every day. Shout out to MD for the recommendation. Getting pretty good. Almost beat this really good champion in this tournament the other night. If I didn't have such lag/internet issues I'd have won. Somehow in the settings they had some kind of booster thingies activated. I didn't know they existed. It was crazy. Spikes, magnets, extra strength every ten seconds. Crazy and weird. Never again.

Dark Souls is the greatest game of all time. The freedom is a massive part of the charm.
Also, movement is only slow if you get greedy with the weight of your loadout. If you know what you're doing, it doesn't feel slow at all.
I certainly appreciate Dark Souls as a series and the tremendous influence it has and will continue to have on action games over the past generation. The combination of the setting, seemingly infinite number of options, and speed of the combat just doesn't appeal to me as much for how I play games now.
I'm at an impasse of what game to play next. I have purchased several games over the years that I want to play and I want to try to get to them before next gen hits. What you guys think?
South Park: The Stick of Truth Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Deus Ex Machina: Mankind Divided Death Stranding (get back to it) Outer Wilds (get back to it) Call of Duty: WW2 (Campaign) XCom 2

I'd be keen to hear more about Outer Wilds.
XCom 2 rules, but it is DEEP. The first ME game was a blast but I never tried the second one.
