I’ve never had the sausage, but it would have to have some other fat mixed with it. Pheasant is the absolute driest meat I’ve ever eaten. It’s like trying to eat a mouthful of sawdust.

ah yeah - i think i've only had deer meat then...deer jerky was fine and i think i had it in cheese dip once, but when i had it in stew i didn't care that much for it
