My yearly bump for this band. They are on a EU tour right now, went to see them yesterday....and man,....so so good. I think their fans are mostly musicians themselves, but still go check out this band!!

years later Im still spreading the gospel about this band...
They just finished their latest EU tour, guess they only tour in Europe. I went to the last show of the tour and WOW.....
What a band!! Incredible musicians, I guess most of their fans are musicians too. They call themselves 'psychonauts', it's a cultfollowing (myself included )
Seriously, if you like grunge, classic rock, krautrock, jazz, powerpop, country or psychedelic just check them out. They have records in all of these genres

Stayed with some friends in Italy once and tjenfirlsmolder brother was a huge fan, kept trying to get me into them. This was like in 2002 or so? Are they still making records and what’s the best point of entry?

yes, there are still making records and touring regularly. For a band that has done soo much and had so many different styles, one entry point is almost impossible.
They have one 'best of': Supersonic Scientist. That would be a good starting point...

Their new song is streaming now. Just another decent track, looking forward to their new record. This kinda has a classic rocksound to it:
