This seems even more justifiable than the Brooks shooting. Guy high on meth whose accomplice submitted without issue, fighting officers who had already called for medical backup just in case, put an officer in a chokehold, tried to pull a knife, was strong enough it took multiple officers to restrain him after they requested he submit to arrest 40 times and used a taser multiple times. Gotta wonder if this article is exists to reignite protests or provide rationalization to the ongoing riots.
The risky thing this shows is that now every black person under arrest can scream “I can’t breathe” and the cops have to decide do they let them go or risk becoming the next Chauvin via Twitter/MSM if it’s true.

We do plan to continue this work through the next six to nine months, really understanding what would a community safety department system look like that doesn’t center police but really is about violence prevention and safety.”
