i walked outside to check on my plantings this evening and there was a baby bunny in the grass. a newborn, about the size of a baseball. he just sat there hunched over trying to hide, in 2 inch grass. very funny. then he went under my porch

i had to add some epsom salt to the soil around my gardenias

ate the first cucumber today from the garden..fantastic..some yellow squash is almost ready as are the red bell peppers and fresno chilis..the radishes are a bit small but potent and the beets should be ready soon as well

apparently soil PH was off
i added a bunch of epsom salt
but it might be too late
