Any Taylor Swift - Folklore fans here? Normally I would expect flaming for this but since this album was basically written by Aaron Dessner of the National, it's worth giving a listen.

We got a whole Taylor Swift thread for you, buddy.

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2104&start=500

There's a swath of RM that digs it (myself included). Then you've got other too-cool-for-school-ers who want to hurl pejoratives and insult fans. Thankfully, they're the minority. Then you've got a healthy group of intelligent posters who really don't like the album and can offer valid criticism. Basically, we're like an embodiment of the whole internet but less terrible on balance. :)

We have a Saved By The Bell: The New Class thread too, if you’re interested in that.

I'm glad not everyone in this place has lost their mind this summer.

Maybe that's my problem - I might give this another try in the Summer - see if that changes my perception of this

But not about perfect enough, obviously, to be a top album of this year because her last album is so much more perfect that it negates this one.

You didn't say that. I was projecting because I'm insecure and hypersensitive about my opinions.

It was also a bit of a dig at verb. Because he did imply that FTBC can't be album of the year because it isn't as good as IW. But mostly, the insecure thing.

Oh I'm fine with digs at verb.

I haven't made a top 10 list yet, but I am sure Fetch the Boltcutters is in there. It's a great album
