The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
The Juan Soto situation is a great example of why playing is stupid and why Canada not allowing the Jays to play in Toronto was the right call: he recieved the positive result two full days after being tested. He even played in a game between the test and the result. Who knows how many other players he was in contact with.
I heard he did two rapid tests this afternoon that were negative, so we’ll see if it’s negative two days in a row.
As far as I know the season is set, and they plan to play it whether or not there are positive tests.
so is there any kind of fine for playing between testing and getting the results? because that shouldn't be allowed period...
I know you aren't allowed to play for certain and you can't be around the team that's why there are more roster exemptions this year (Covid IL), I believe a player must test negative two days in a row to be allowed back.

I'm okay with fake crowd noise, especially for radio broadcast, but can do without the CGI fans on tv. But there's going to be lots of "let's try this..." this season. Braves are starting their third string catcher because their top two were sent back to Atlanta with Covid symptoms. Nothing like being thankful for Opening Day only to sit through a 1-0 loss with three hits from your team. Soroka was fine but DeGromm was certainly in midseason form yesterday.

have been aimlessly letting ESPN play in the background, for the first time in a long while, and that PJ / MLB 'Who Ever Said' commercial came on
unreal
