Jesus, yes. I'm sure they thought kids would want to go to "their" trilogy, but what parent doesn't indoctrinate their kids on the OT before showing them anything else? Who buys the tickets to Galaxy's Edge?

My kids love R2, Chewbacca, and Darth Vader. No one gives a shit about the First Order and the Resistence!

Canon or not, everyone knows that the Sequels aren't REAL Star Wars.

Rey, the magical Jedi with a more confusing backstory than the Joker.
Finn, the ex-slave stormtrooper who loves killing other stormtroopers.
Poe, the character so lame that his actor never wants to play him again.

Nah. Marketing. Branding. Canon. Blah Blah Blah... I'm just saying I totally get it. Also, the ST is Disney. Of course they're gonna start with the time period focusing on when they got involved. Be mad about it but don't act like it doesn't make all the sense in the world.

It's ALL Disney. Why buy stuff and not use it?

These are opinions that I have, but I don't live or die by them.

Disney DOES do droids right. I've loved the droids from all 5 Disney movies.

BB-8
K-2SO
BB-9E
L3-37
D-0
