Yeah we were definitely in bougie seating that day. Since I got the tickets day of the game on the second hand market and 2019 sucked for the Red Sox, they were pretty much what I would have paid for bleacher seats in other circumstances.
meaningless game but was invited to watch in a suite and drank and ate like there was no tomorrow

Patriots at Bills, September 2019. I wore Dolphins stuff, rooted for the Bills and got yelled at a lot. Brady was terrible but the Pats still won. Tailgating in cool weather was wonderful.

Went to this game after I toured the PFHOF and R&R HOF. (Very glad I did that before the pandemic!) The Indians' pitcher threw a complete game, first time I've seen that live. Also, I really liked their ballpark, I'd recommend going to a game there even if you're not a fan of them.

“The Jake” was among that first generation of new, classic-modern ballparks. I wanna say around the same time as Camden Yards? It really is a cool stadium and gave rise/inspiration to other new parks in Seattle, San Francisco, Pittsburgh ... they all have a fantastic aesthetic.

i was in cleveland's ballpark before the renovations. it was horrible.
speaking of horrible, the white sox ballpark (Guaranteed Rate or whatever they're calling it this year) was the first of the new ballparks. the guy that designed camden yards put in a design, and they rejected it. they also rejected a fantastic retro version of a new park that would have been put down north of where the current stadium is (armour square park). the renderings are unbelievable. and of course, they rejected them.
