The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Did you think the current price would last forever? A $15 bump isn't too bad.
I agree that I was being a little dramatic. But they keep adding and adding channels; the draw of YTTV when I started was that it was pretty bare-bones. There are just so few options that involve our regional sports network that I can imagine the price of this plus internet being close to my former cable package in another year's time.
That's actually more than the starter FIOS package. Truly unfortunate that we may have to cancel.

It's a pretty ballsy time for a price hike. To increase prices with no live sports worth mentioning and a good chance none coming soon.....Hollywood being shut down so no new tv episodes coming....and then to justify the increase by giving us a few shitty Viacom channels seems like brand suicide to me. At least give us all the shitty Viacom channels.

You can always stop subscribing now and then start again when those sports and shows come back.
hulu live makes the most sense for me right now, it appears...i've had hulu streaming with ads at $1.99 a month for the last year, but that promotion is about to end and i have planned on keeping it at the normal price
i do need to find out how much my internet bill will be without cable...i've been on a promotion discount for the cable portion, but it just ended

Also I don’t care whose fault it is , but someone strike a deal to get the fox regional sports channels back on the streaming sites. I don’t need 40 different ESPNs or college stations.

We're cancelling YouTube TV over here, so we'll officially be out of the live-TV game. It wasn't just the most recent price hike, but that combined with losing NESN and our viewing habits changing made the decision for us.
