The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

I played about 45 minutes of Battlefront 2 last night and was really not impressed by it. I only did the single-player arcade mode, so no multiplayer, and I still want to give the campaign a shot, but it really felt one-note.
Started the campaign for this last night. A bit more on-rails than I usually like, and the game just seems so simplistic (are all DICE games like this?), but it also does feel very Star Wars-y, so I really am enjoying the atmosphere.

1. No, all DICE games are definitely not like that. See the Battlefield series, which is like the AP version of Battlefront.
2. Yeah, Battlefront 2 is not great, too much random pew pew, seems to be a game modeled for the masses. The first installment offered much better online gameplay.

I would agree with this assessment. Though to be honest i actually prefer the simplicity of it. I haven't been much of an FPS player on this gen of consoles so i'm all old and out of practice. I appreciate the basic newbie friendly gameplay cause honestly, i'm just there for the Star Wars feels. Reskin that same game as a generic space marine shooter and i'm out. Haven't played it in a year or two though, how is the online community these days? Is it easy to get a match in one of the less popular modes?
Disco Elysium is absolutely incredible and I could not stop playing it yesterday. Interviewing people in this game is like L.A. Noire on LSD, with your own brain serving as a guide, conscience and even antagonist. And the world building is awesome. Feels kind of like an absurdist Dishonored put 200 years into the future. I cannot stop thinking about it.

I want to play this badly but it’s not on Ps4. Glad you are enjoying!
I was going to wait until the PS4 release but got impatient and downloaded it on my Mac. Have no idea when I'll have the time to sit down with it, though.
