Yup...and i thought it did sound great and kind of a ballsy song to perform on a show like this that kind of lends itself to ballads.

I wish Ed had a mic. I know it was pre rec'd but when lip sync'ing at lest pretend.

And what's with the hand gestures and weird shite.

The rest sounded good but I can't wait to hear a 'live' version.

Is that a nod that he was going to be involved in the live performances on the spring tour?

i picture stone having a room in his house with that lighting at all times. he just chose to perform from there today.

I mean good considering it was a Corin/Carrie duo performance of "Modern Girl" recorded in 2005.

Nope, that was definitely recorded this year in one of their homes in Portland. The caption was confusing in stating that the song was released in 2005.

The biggest tell is the lack of harmonica & drums, since ya know they lost their drummer. Whatever, not the best version but still love Corin & Carrie.

kinda surprised PJ made such a big deal in the run-up to this album about Matt going back and 'actually' playing the drums. that was ultra basic

if anything he should jazz up the live version a little bit

Even seemed like it was edited down cause they knew it wasn’t good. Oh well. Zoom PJ rocked.

That was fun. Loved seeing Ed’s girls, and loved seeing Mike put his visual artistic sensibilities to some use for the band. Mostly it just reminded me how great that song is, and that I’d love to hear this album live.
