Unpopular Soundgarden opinions:
I've never really liked Pretty Noose.
I love it. There is such a cool swagger to it.
I admitted it was an unpopular opinion.
I am with the popular on this one but Pretty Noose is also one of those songs where I can remember exactly where I was the first time I heard it. We all grow to adore many songs but I personally find a far more select few that really have that type of resonance... also, being the first song on an album never seems to hurt.

I love this album. The beauty, the chaotic mess, the obscurity...the overall feel of apocalyptic doom some of this songs have.
I love it.
Down on the Upside is my stranded on an island album.
It was one of a handful of tapes I brought for my hike in and out of the Grand Canyon. That was 1996, but we got intimate. So good. I don't skip anything.

Follow me into the desert As thirsty as you are Crack a smile and cut your mouth And drown in alcohol 'Cause down below the truth is lying Beneath the riverbed So quench yourself and drink the water That flows below her head Oh no there she goes Out in the sunshine the sun is mine The sun is mine

Nude Dragons was the name they used for the first reunion show at the Showbox in 2010. There were no hard tickets for the show, just a paper wristband with Nude Dragons printed on it. Tickets went on sale morning of. It's still one of the most electric shows I've ever been at. Still have the wristband too,
