as for mmj, evil urges did shit the bed. i've given that album numerous efforts to appreciate it, but it's just not that good. circuital is only moderately better. at least the waterfall has some great moments. also, i cannot buy any arguments that jim james' voice is bad. as someone else said, i could listen to him sing 'rainbow connection' forever.
aerosmith is a good answer. though that awfully named 'honkin' on bobo' covers record is pretty good.
