this reminded me a bit of Hallelujah - at least the vocal melody in the verse.

This is better than that other song he recently released, but neither of these are much of anything. Turns out your songs are much better when Mike Mills and Peter Buck write the music.

Agreed, the tracks are good but not great. I would still buy his solo record if ever released.

But I wish he had worked with someone like James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) for tracks like this. That could have been REALLY interesting....

I’ll always remember him for his amazing work with Ministry, KMFDM and Swans, his REM stuff not so much.

this was the best of his new songs, which were all at least a little disappointing. I like this one.

He needs better musical collaborators.

Looks great. Is there a good resource (other than wiki) for figuring out which eras these all belong to? Immediately interested in anything Monster through Up.

wall of death is a great cover from that era (hi-fi I believe).

There are two Arms of Love (automatic era). One is an acoustic song. One is more strings. The strings one is amazing
