New Patton Oswalt is good. Not his best special, but some great moments. The final ten minutes was underwhelming though.
not a fan of him and i thought it was...not good.
I like him but I couldn't even get through this. The whole bit about being 50 was so boring and trite

Yeah in retrospect this has gotten worse instead of better. Patton for me is a bit like Pearl Jam, and I’m always glad to check out what he’s creating. But the special is not great.

Agree. Good analogy. And I've listened to the new PJ album...1x.

when comedians become comedy actors, it's always awkward when they try and go back, especially when they dip into that barrel one too many times. it's like Ice Cube trying to rap again. i appreciate where you came from, but realize where you're at.

Watched the new Seinfeld standup special on Netflix last night. While nothing groundbreaking, I loved it because it was a comforting escape after a brutal week-and-a-half. And his ability to compose an hour-long special down to every single syllable and gesture, yet still have it feel really loose, is something to behold.

i saw it yesterday too. Yeah, i was actually amused on his performance. He is old school for sure, but i loved that. The bit about marriage was great because of his performance.

Very cool.
Yeah the marriage stuff was my favorite part too. But really I was chuckling comfortably throughout the whole thing.
