The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Trying to clear some of my backlog before the PS5 hits...
Loving the emphasis on exploration and puzzles so far in this. The dialogue and cutscenes are a bit melodramatic though.
Finished this last night. A really solid action adventure game with a nice emphasis on puzzle solving and exploration. The story was forgettable as were most of the side characters, but the environments and action set pieces were well crafted. A really solid B+.

I need to re-visit this. I got a few hours into it and while fun like the last two TR games, I found the graphics were a bit of a step down from Rise of the TR. Felt like development on this one was a bit of a rush job, but also think I should take it for what it is and enjoy the action/set pieces.

I played about 45 minutes of Battlefront 2 last night and was really not impressed by it. I only did the single-player arcade mode, so no multiplayer, and I still want to give the campaign a shot, but it really felt one-note.

It is one note. I think the first installment was the better game, despite its limited modes and maps. Something about the multiplayer in this one just feels chaotic and without any element of skill

It all comes down to expectations. The timed exclusive BS of Rise of the Tomb Raider built up this hype that wasn't quite met by the actual game when I finally played it on the PS4. This one has been in my backlog so long, I could enjoy it for what it was without any hype or conversation around it.

Good point, that timed exclusive shit pissed me off too, though I had a lot of fun with that game. Shadow is also sitting in my backlog (again) along with Resident Evil 3 and I hope to start remedying that this weekend
Risk of Rain 2 on the Switch. The netcode is solid, so I'm able to play with my bro on the other side of the world. Learning to aim with thumbsticks after a few decades of keyboard + mouse has been rough, but I'm still having a blast.
Bought the new Greymoor expansion for Elder Scrolls Online last night. it would seem that the call of Skyrim and dragons was enough to bring me back to the game after a few years away.
