I've been monkeying around with this for a few weeks, and finally landed on a sequencing that works much better for me:
Who Ever Said Never Destination Quick Escape Dance of the Clairvoyants Alright Retrograde Seven O'Clock Take The Long Way Comes Then Goes Buckle Up River Cross
Why it works:
I've left off SBWM because it hurts my ears. But I still needed a punchy number in the #2 spot, and Never Destination works perfectly as a lighter, breezier followup to Who Ever Said.
I've swapped the sequencing of Quick Escape and DOTC, and I think it flows much better having three rock songs up front, with increasing level of psychedelic effect, before pivoting into the more ambient DOTC and Alright.
Retrograde gets a BIG upgrade in closing out side A, and the thunderous outro segues perfectly into the opening moments of Seven O'Clock, which kicks off side B.
Going straight from Seven O'Clock > TTLW works great, and I actually think TTLW feels a bit bolder without Never Destination working to ramp things up first.
I've then swapped Comes Then Goes and Buckle Up, because I think the latter works better as a light little pick-me-up after the weightiness of the former.
Unlike the official track listing, I'm not so fatigued by this point that I don't have the energy for River Cross. Cutting SBWM certainly helped in that regard, but also this all generally flows much nicer to my ear, and River Cross doesn't feel like the chore it does at the end of the official sequencing.

Mine is pretty much the same with SBWM included as I love that song
Who Ever Said Super blood Wolfmoon Dance of the Clairvoyants Quick Escape Alright Retrograde
Never Destination Seven O'Clock Take The Long Way Buckle Up Comes Then Goes River Cross
Retrograde closes out side A really well
Seven Oclock is strong enough to squeeze in between ND and TTLW and not get lost. It’s actually makes those three songs stronger.
I like how Buckle Up leads into Comes Then Goes so I’ve left them as they are.

I really like the look of this one
I just tried this and the first three were BANGING but TTLW into DOTC was so jarring for me that it pulled me right out of the experience; I'll listen to the rest later!

There are a few transitional sounds between songs in the official tracklist that kind of mess up this experiment a bit, just in terms of being able to listen back to it and having it feel seamless.

Endorse.
Yeah pretty much...i dont really have any reason to mess with this one at this point.

But conversely, WES > Never Destination, and Retrograde > Seven O'Clock both work really well because of this
