it didnt take long to me. On a couple of listens i already got the album. I was super surprised by it. The sound, the lyrics, the booklet.
Perfect.
I’m not saying it took 20 years for me to love Binaural, after all it has been my favorite album for years. But it did take quite some time for me to really appreciate it for what it is. And I really do think it is unique and remarkable in its ability to still be fresh and interesting all these years later.
yeah, it has all this different elements. Its super introspective and at the same time, it rocks. Its the perfect winter album too.

It took me nearly 20 years to love this song, but it has recently became an absolute favorite of mine. Light Years has probably risen in esteem more than any PJ song for me over the years. Binaural is truly a masterpiece. I know I’ve been praising Gigaton constantly since it was released, and I do love Gigaton, but Binaural is just so incredibly special. 20 years later it is still revealing itself to me, and I am just mesmerized by its depth and beauty.
I remember my first time spinning Binaural in my dad's car, and I think I was gravely disappointed with every song but "Light Years"
I'm not the biggest fan of the tags live, but the "goodbye" tag they used to do with this was good imo
Yeah i love that tag...then again i also used to really love the Daughter tags until some point in the 2000s where it seemed to be more about the tag than the actual song.
