Prepping for the second interview in a month that's all about China. The last one was mostly focused on state-controlled media and the coronavirus, but this one is more about their economy: their aging population, increase in automation, etc...

We're totally screwed here in rural Montana.

I get the feeling that the popular assumption that China is inevitable is false. They need our markets more than we need their manufacturing. Their demographics and debt problems are a lot worse than ours.

Not sure though.

They are certainly doing their damnedest to divert blame on this. The disinformation campaign is coming faster and hard, like this sick beat

Quote:
A commanding officer of the Indian army and two soldiers have died at Galwan Valley, in Ladakh, in a face-off between Indian and Chinese soldiers, according to a statement by the Indian defence ministry. It's the first loss of life in at least 45 years and comes after weeks of tension between the two sides.

So weird to me that India and China hate each other so much.

edit: wait...no shots were fired? just clubs and rocks?

Official reporting does not support this, but the internet randos who were early on the Rona are not so optimistic.
