Wildflowers turns 25 next month. I gave it yet another listen, in what has been hundreds of times. It hits me anew every time. What a great great album from top to bottom.

I heard "The Woods" on Sirius recently which I wasn't familiar with. Has it been released anywhere?

Sounds like it could be on Hypnotic Eye. Definitely not on Wildflowers, that’s House in the Woods.

Anyone else ever notice how in one of the Running Down A Dream documentary interviews, Tom is wearing an army style jacket with a German flag on the sleeve, very similar to the one Eddie is wearing on the 1993 Rolling Stone cover shot? :-?

I was listening to Tom when I picked up my oldest tonight and she asked me what made him/them so iconic. So I let the music do the talking. She actually liked some of it.

My favorite Tom Petty song is Love is a Long Road. Never understood why it isn’t more popular.

I never though about my favorite Petty songs, but I really like Louisiana Rain, Rebels, and Southern Accent.

Also, Learning to Fly when it is slowed down is so good.

Just stumbled onto this. I’ve never wished I liked coffee more than while reading this.

I watched the live stream of the 2014 Lockn festival show. He was very much on top of his game.
