Finally finished this. The last two seasons were the best. Had a great ending as well. The parking lot scene was amazing.

Yes. They were probably the best thing about the series.

Noah Emmerich and Keri Russell were amazing really. They really went for it.

Matthew Rhys might have been the series highlight for me.

Just beginning S3. I hate the Clark/Martha arc but otherwise I agree.

I finished this up a week ago, and it's still sticking with me. It's one of my favorite shows I've ever seen, and I think I prefer to many of the dramas that got bigger attention (attention they certainly deserved) in the previous decade. There's one or two particular moments in the finale that just hit me harder than any other episode of television I've seen.

I can't listen to that certain song in the finale without feeling absolutely gutted.

Oh, absolutely. I'm sure it sounds hyperbolic, but I'm not sure I've ever been as emotionally affected by the look on an actor's face as I was with Keri Russell in that scene. I was really only familiar with her as being the lead from Felicity, which I never really watched; I had no idea she was this good.

It's difficult for me to pick a favorite performance from the cast. All of the major players consistently impressed.

I never liked the kids, but the other leads were all impressive. Margot Martindale in particular was consistently great.

It was pretty dumb of me to bump this thread. I don't want to read any of these posts before watching more episodes.

It's heart breaking but Alison Wright plays her so fucking well.

It might be the best, start to finish, show I've ever seen. Even The Wire had a sub par final season.

Its highs were more understated that some other top tier shows, but it is certainly up there in the top tier.

It just stayed consistently good all the way through, and has one of the best finales I've ever seen.

The second to last season was just ok, but otherwise I agree.
