I don’t really get what Conan is doing with his new format. I thought the new half-hour running time would allow him to jettison all the formulaic trappings that bog him down and focus on the areas that show off what makes him great - remotes, pre-taped segments, stuff like that. But no, he seems to have done just the opposite: now the whole show is a weak monologue, a crappy in-studio bit, and a brief, shallow celebrity interview. Just awful. He should quit this and only make Conan without Borders, Clueless Gamer, and Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.
that's a disappointment to hear...i haven't watched the show in quite awhile (i think i stopped because i was too depressed to laugh)
Have you tried out the Conan needs a friend podcast? It's delightful.

Finished Series 3 of Moone Boy. It was a wild start because wow the kids went through a little puberty from Series 2 to 3. A high point for me was the fourth episode "Unidentified Feckin' Objects" because they used the music from Jeff Wayne's Musical War of the Worlds in several spots.
The last episode was well done because they somehow crafted an episode about a parent dying with Alzheimer's and turned it poignant. And they had Paul Rudd star as grandpa's imaginary friend come back, which is wild because the episode aired in April 2015 and Ant-Man came out a few months later. That's an impressive get for a small Irish show. (Probably with Chris O'Dowd's help though)
