Guys...I’m loving it. It’s big, bombastic, and eclectic, and it takes chances. Every song has been a winner so far. Morello with Springsteen sounds weird on paper but I really like how it turned out.
Springsteen's liner notes, along with having the lyrics in hand, really enhanced the impact of the "The Wall" for me. It's kind of a generic Celtic-sounding folk melody on its own, nothing special musically, but knowing the back story really helped me connect with it. Interesting. It mostly just makes me want to listen to Fields of Gold though.
