KSG is a bunch of watery synth sounds and tired "Whoa Whoa" backing vox. And that FREEEEEE song is straight garbage.
what? Reborn has such a cool vibe and beat and the lyrics are very very warm and sincere. KSG, the song, has an instant classic chorus...and Cudi Montage is an example of good production besides the fact that Ye´s moment is gold.

Cudi Montage is my favorite track on this album, I do think the production on that one stands above everything else on the record. I'm not too clued into the lyrics, because Kanye's raps have rarely been interesting to me, and I've never latched onto a Cudi verse before either; their lyrics on this just sort of drift by due to my general disinterest more than anything else.
But outside of Montage, I really do this the production on this album is some bargain-shelf Fruity Loops stuff.
You guys will just hate him no matter what he does. Whatever.
I don't hate his music. I like KSG quite a bit. Cudi Montage and Reborn are two of my favorite songs of the year.
However, I find his attention-seeking routine positively boring and have for a long time. If he puts out good music I'll still listen to it, but I don't think that everything else he does is performance art or deep and insightful. Maybe it's supposed to be and maybe it's just so genius that it's gone over my head, and you're welcome to argue that. I'll probably disagree, but that's fine. Nothing about any of his political commentary in the last two years appeared to be anything except a desperate attempt to get attention. I didn't find it to be ideologically or philosophically consistent or interesting or unique or thought-provoking. To my ears it just screamed, "Look at me! I'm saying things that you wouldn't expect a hip-hop star to say! What I'm saying is very unpopular and controversial! (Btw, while you guys are talking about me don't forget to mention that I have a new album coming out.)"
