Played about an hour of Bomberman 2 last night on the SNESC with my son. That was a lot of fun, I just wish there was a multi-tap for the Classic so we could have my wife play at the same time.
I'd love a HD remake of classic Bomberman, not that crap that came out a few years ago.
We also played a few levels of Turtles in Time but ran out of continues so gave that up. Started some 2-player Tetris but I was kicking his butt so hard he gave up.

Since I'm home sick I went through this stack of Gamecube games that are mostly ones that someone gave us but a few that I sought out* because of nostalgia. Wow. There were some shit games made back in the early aughts. Also the graphics...woof.
List:
1080 Snowboarding Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Harry Potter: Quidditch Harvest Moon: Magical Melody NBA Street 2* Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 Pac-Man World 2 Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Sega Soccer Slam* Sonic Heroes SSX Tricky* SSX3* Star Wars: The Clone Wars Star Wars: Rogue Leader Rogue Squadron 2* Star Wars: Rebel Strike Rogue Squadron 3* Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2
I remember liking all of the starred games but now they're all pretty bad. I especially remember liking the Star Wars games but the controls were just terrible. Like, you're using an analog stick to control but the ships move like you're tapping a d pad.
The rest are just bad. The only one out of all of those that I'm keeping is Paper Mario. I made it about 20 minutes and was hooked.
I looked them all up at Gamestop and it looks like I'd make a whopping $1.50 since most of them aren't in the database.
I'm more than a little peeved that I can't find my copy of F-Zero. I made sure to keep that - along with the memory card - because I knew there was no way I would be able to unlock everything all over again. But since I can't find it, shit. I want to show my son how fast the game is. Also now I need an Action Replay because they found out the AX stuff is on the disc.

F Zero GX is my favorite racing game of all time. I still have it.
Mario Kart 8 on the Switch, Destiny 2 and FIFA 18 on the Xbox One. Found Micro Machines nearly free as well, but it is a really poor game compared to the 90s versions.
Don’t have unlimited time, so this week it’s mostly been Destiny 2.
My brother, who shares my aversion to overly difficult games, recently fell in love with Bloodborne. Now I kinda want to try it.
I think you would really like it.
Is the Greatest Hits version the Definitive Edition or the standard edition? Target is having a very nice buy 2 get 1 sale across video games and movies.

Not sure. I doubt it includes the DLC. The Hunter's Nightmare is on sale quite a bit though on the PS Store. The core game is plenty meaty though.

Oh man, I need to look into this because GC through the rca looks terrible.
The HD version on the Wii U is glorious. If you have the means to play it that is.
Yeah, we have it for the WiiU, I just forgot that there was a GC emulator that can play all those other games that Ninty & Co don't want to re-release.

Dolphin is probably the best emulator around right now. It's super light on resources, highly customizable and the developers actively fig bugs.
I double the GameCube's native resolution and add anti-aliasing and it's beautiful.

I can’t believe I missed this post bashing SSX Tricky and 3 - two perfect games.

I can’t play them on anything else because the muscle memory with the GC controller runs so deep. I couldn’t play the new SSX at all because I kept trying to push the buttons that corresponded to the GC controls.
