This movie exists and it's called Knock Knock
oh shit! i didn't know there was that element to it. now i'll definitely watch it
Well sort of. It's not exactly that but it's quite similar. It's his best movie, BTW.
yeah you had implored me to watch it a while back. i definitely want to, but it falls into the category of "the wife's not into it, so i'll try to it some night when she's out."

My brother is currently at an early screening of Dragged Across Concrete with S. Craig Zahler, Vince Vaughn, and MEL GIBSON in attendance and I am so excited for him but also insanely envious

[traggish, etc]
Apparently this stuff is super common and accessible in LA.
I have two brothers. This one is four years younger than I am. My other brother is (I think) 20 years younger than I am.

This is what he said about the movie:
“Movie’s fucking phenomenal. It’s like Brawl but nearly three hours long with a much bigger budget, beauuutifully composed cinematography, much less emphasis on violence, and most of the movie is basically one really long drawn out setpiece. It’s amazing. It’s pretty much Zahler’s version of Magnolia lol. And extremely politically charged but in the best way. Zahler is for sure the most exciting director working now”
