I don't see a resurgence... she's been consistently well admired in my circles... but maybe it had something to do with her live comeback a couple years ago?

Also, John Darnielle is a remarkable lyrics, but I find him frustrating as a songwriter because he tends to default to the same melodies and chord changes over and over and over again. I still fuck with Tallahassee though

my mom is a big kate bush fan, so i've always been familiar. but there was an album she put out around 2012 or so that seemed to turn a new generation onto her stuff, and i think Pitchfork played a big part in that
