Definitely plan on listening to both of those, though I expect the new HOF to be more of the same. They really need to bring back Steve Albini.

Didn’t they only do one album with him though?

Both of those are good. Behemoth’s is different for them but the singles they put out are a lot weaker than the album tracks. High on Fire is High on Fire, shit bangs :bammer:

2018 is the year of Matt Pike guitar riffs between this and the Sleep album. :bammer:

I Loved You at Your Darkest is kind of boring. “God = Dog” and “Sabbath Mater” are the only songs I can see myself returning to. By the last few tracks, I found myself thinking, “Is this thing still going?”

I feel like this is Gojira’a L’enfant sauvage and Septicflesh’s Codex Omega all over again - a metal band whose last few albums I absolutely love who then releases a new record that sounds recognizably like their previous output but without all the memorable songs and musical touches that made me love that stuff. Too bad.

I like "Wolves ov Siberia" and "Bartzabel" as well, but yeah about half of the songs do very little for me.
