The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Came out of the gas station last night to see a guy with a cane getting into his car wearing a Vote For Change Tour PJ shirt. I recognized it (since I also own one) and said, "Nice shirt." Turns out we've been to six of the same shows over the years. He'll be at Wrigley night one in the GA, same as me. He's never been to Wrigley and was really excited for the show. He said their music has played a huge role in dealing with his disability.
For as cynical as this board (and myself) can be about the band and its fans, it was really nice to have this random encounter. Really looking forward to next week's show.

in "Don't Gimme No Lip", is that Stone also doing the the background harmony/vocals (saying "dooooon't giiiiiive meeeee") right before the bridge – around the 1:20 mark? with headphones on, they almost sound like female vocals

All this time I thought "Betterman (Live)" was just a random lecherouslittlestump joke, but I just looked at Backspacer on Spotify and there IS a "Betterman (Live)" bonus track

i dont think its Jack and its kinda weird they havent listed anyone doing the bg vocals
Man, they really dont play any of those songs confidently. That really depresses me. The first couple songs of the show they tear through. Then kind of make their way through Binaural with a majority of the songs played with an intense hesitancy.
Following up with Corduroy to once they tear right through it.
basically - i really wish they spent their time rehearsing the songs that aren't always easy to play. They clearly fall back on the songs that are a bit more simple and/or easier to play for an arena full of screaming idiots. Its why we see, generally, the same songs in every show.

i haven't listened to that, but that's sounds depressing, and not in a good way
i'm stoked i got a Binaural song last night, i love NAIS so much. i'd love to hear others (Sleight, Rival, Insig), but as of now I'm happy to just hear one
