too early to say, but anything over an 8 intensity is stronger than i prefer. i've liked the ones that fall into that 6 or 7 range.

Some light banter happening on the senate floor about coffee as I tune in to the Kavanaugh hearing.
EDIT: I don’t mean to make light of the hearing. This is truly awful stuff. I do think it’s a testament to the power of coffee and caffeine that Dr. Ford keeps returning to her cup during this ordeal, and discussing the drink before the proceedings is the most small talky of small talk. Thus is the nature of this universal beverage.

Barnes and Nobles has been dying a slow, painful death for years.
I was just picking meat from the corpse.
Weirdly enough, I prefer shopping at Barnes and Noble to my independent book store. Maybe that’s the introvert in me. The staff doesn’t talk to you there and it smells like coffee.

i have never once had a great espresso from a Nespresso machine. Going out of my house for good espresso is half the fun of drinking it. While I loathe the overly precious barista types, i have to admit they make great coffee. I had a typically wonderful experience at Grumpy in NYC a couple weeks ago: fantastic espresso delivered with an expedient side-helping of playful banter, no precious barista speak included. All coffee shops should aspire to this.
I hope the Nespresso product fails but i'll not hold my breath.
