Well these are fantastic.

The Crimson was my least favorite only because it was pretty basic while the others had the fruit going for them.

Pineapple habenero was the best. Really like the green one but like all green hot sauces it wasn't quite spicy enough.

Blueberry ghost pepper had a real nice kick to it, well balanced with the blueberry.

Brought these bitches camping last weekend and they were a big hit.

My friend bought me this. It's on its way to me right now.

She walked into Heatonist in NYC and said "give me your hottest sauce". 30 ghost peppers in every bottle. Goddamn.

Bless her for that, but I am just a tiny bit disappointed that she fell prey to the common misconception that hot sauce enthusiasts only care about heat. Let's hope the taste is good. I'll report back when I receive the bottle.

i found that blueberry one far too watery. it kinda just slides off whatever you pour it on. tastes good though. how is the consistency of the others?

Oh I like it a lot. Hotter, tastier and thicker than Nandos.

Everything I've had by Bravado is slightly watery but I am OK with it. I also prefer thicker sauces, but this is really good for tacos and the like. Like you said, it doesn't really coat whatever you pour it on, but that is fine.

Finding fault in a watery sauce must assume that the sauce is only to be used on things. Don't be afraid to stir it in, WtOB.

Facebook "On This Day" feature just dug up this photo, and I realized I can trace my interest in hot sauce back to this one night 8 years ago
Spoiler: show
Image

This night was the first time I ever tried sriracha, and I was blown away. I'd had hot sauces before, but it was always just the standard vinegar-and-peppers variety (which I've come to appreciate as I've come out the other side of hot sauce snobbery). This was the first one I tried that offered something different. So happy anniversary, hot sauce.

My research consistently turns up the same place and year for the birth of bottled hot sauce, but no source I find offers an exact date. Gay.
