Villains is their intention to go pop and dance and its just so fuckin boring. So so boring...the groove is gone, thanks to that awful Ronson, the jams are minimized, every song is a pale attempt of a pop hit.
As for the solo thing, QOTSA is Josh´s project so ..why would he release a solo thang?

There's a different groove. The songs just aren't that great.

Queens of the Stone Age were still awesome live when I saw them last year. They opened with I Think I Lost My Headache, so they could have done all 9 shitty Villains songs in a row after that and I'd still be happy.
They did end up doing 6 or 7 songs from Villains and most of them sounded better live than on the album, but their older material they played still sounded great.
I saw the LC show here with NIN in 2014. While the band was very tight and the LC songs sounded great, nothing will ever top the SFTD show I went to at The Palace in St Kilda on a hot sweaty January night in 2003. It was the loudest mutha'ucking show I have ever seen and my ears are still ringing 15 years later.

its true. I saw them play with Grohl at a tiny bar for the record release party. And when is ay tiny bar....i mean ....tiny bar. I fucking played there for fucks sake.
Piggy backing here, but "Live and Kicking" works with the pic.
Nice
In all seriousness though, I think I'll be using a different whole band pic. What do you think of "Live Till You Die"?

It sure is. I've rediscovered it this past week and enjoying the hell out of it. FDFM, Domesticated Animals, HLAHH, Eagle Has Landed and VOC are top shelf QOTSA
