My stepson just saw this and said it was the best Star Wars he'd seen. But he pretty much says that's the last movie he's seen was the best movie he's seen, so take from that what you will

Saw this elsewhere
Let's put this all to bed once and for all. I work in a library and do Lego Animation. One of the kids left his workbook behind and open on a page where he has ranked all the Star Wars movies (even has included the animated movie). Number 1: Empire Strikes Back Number 2: The Last Jedi Number 3: a new hope Number 4: revenge of the sith
Phantom menace and attack of the clones are the bottom two.
He is 12, Disney are doing something right.
He also ranked the characters, it went to a four page list.
Also, I get that the pundits and people who make a living talking about Star Wars can't acknowledge this, because it's contrary to their bottom line, but can we talk about how Lucasfilm doesn't OWE the fans anything? Such a stupid fucking notion to me. Bullying people, being completely shitty and awful to try and get your way is absurd. Especially where art is concerned.

Are you aware of the rebel force radio controversy? Have you been listening to Collider lately?

Yeah. Take that thought and apply it there.
I am not aware of the Rebel Force Radio controversy. I listen to Collider Jedi Council every week but I've kinda given up on their other programs like MovieTalk.

I love you and hope you can take at least some of the nonsense I say seriously. So I can’t give you bullet points and you should really look up what’s happening.

I'm aware of most of the stuff in that article. I'm aware of what happened to Kelly Marie Tran. And of the organized efforts to troll Disney with hateful shit because of racist, misogynist bullshit.
What is the Rebel Force Radio controversy? And what does any of it have to do with Collider?
I tried doing a Google search for the RFR controversy and I think I kind have my head wrapped around that, vaguely. But the specifics are hard to pin down.

Dime, what's up with Collider? We didn't really touch on that.
In a nutshell, criticising those people who are abusing Kelly online, while at the same time running a narrative saying Kathleen Kennedy has to go. So basically talking out both sides of their mouths and keeping *that* onboard by doing so and also are the only outlet out there pushing this narrative. And I mean outlet not random losers on YT.
everyone’s aware of what they’re up to, it’s exactly what RFR are doing by keeping some semblance of an audience and income even if it means insecure fragile white guys who are keyboard warriors. Collider are being cleverer about it but also leading an imaginary charge For Kennedy to go which is utter bullshit and they should know better but they’re making sure at least one side of their bread stays buttered.

Make a $50 million sequel. Keep it on one planet, use practical costumes and vehicles as well as natural locations and mat paintings, limit special effects to blaster fire, and limit the fan service. Solo is going to cross $200 million domestically this week. It can be a successful franchise.
I want a sequel but I don't want a "direct" sequel. I want a Qi'ra movie. I want a Lando movie. I want a Maul movie. I want all of it to culminate in something that crosses-over.
