That's awesome. I've gone to one podcast taping, and it was the Greg? Proops show the week after the 2016 election. That was a long fucking show. I've debated going to a Doug Loves Movies but haven't really found a good reason to go by myself.

Margin Call. I'm a sucker for Wall St movies. I think I liked it more than I remembered. They really nail what corporate layoffs are like.

It's been in my queue for ages. Where would it fit in this ranking?

Wall St
Trading Places
Boiler Room
American Psycho
Working Girl
Wall St 2
Wolf of Wall St
Other People's Money
The Big Short

I need to see it ranked. That's a big drop off from Working Girl to Wall St 2.

Jonah Hill in Wolf of Wall St > all.

But otherwise I disagree, I put that in the same category as Mad Men and Hostel, a list of works I like to call "Well-Told Stories About Despicable People."

Of course they’re despicable. That’s...kind of the point? I don’t understand how that’s a criticism.

I just don't enjoy watching stuff like that. Call me old fashioned, but I usually like to root for somebody in film & tv.

That...seems like a narrow way to approach movies.

You'll probably like it. That's all I can say.

Not about wall street, but I'd put Glengarry Glen Ross on top of all those.

I loved The Sopranos, but I could route for Tony. I admire his weird ethical code. Patrick Bateman, and the gangsters in early Tarantino fit this mold too.
